The Canny Canine is a Bozeman, Montana based dog training business founded in late 2012.  Carolyn Murray is the owner and head trainer.  She currently shares her life with two White Shepherds.  She trains in various dog sports with her dogs for fun but focuses on competing in K9 Nose Work® events.

Carolyn is a Certified Nose Work Instructor™ through the National Association of Canine Nose Work.  She greatly enjoys traveling throughout the western U.S. and Canada attending various detection clinics and seminars when not competing.  A strong believer in education, Carolyn enjoys bringing information back to her Bozeman students and creating a supportive, positive environment where teams of all types and abilities can flourish.

After a long hiatus from blogging, Carolyn is looking forward to sharing adventures, discussing training experiences, highlighting various nose work teams, and more than likely some random thoughts in hopes that her experience will help encourage and inspire other dog owners, especially those in remote areas of the country.
